Problem
I addressed the challenge of uncovering hidden trends and insights in a large retail sales dataset, which was previously buried in spreadsheets. The business needed a clear and interactive way to understand $12M in annual retail sales across 40 stores.
Approach
I built an interactive Power BI dashboard using SQL to query the data, DAX to model it, and Excel for data manipulation. I leveraged these tools to create a user-friendly interface that surfaces key metrics and insights.
Result
I delivered a dashboard that effectively surfaces regional trends, top SKUs, and margin leaks, providing actionable insights into the retail sales performance across 40 stores and $12M in annual sales.
